Problems using repart

#1

Hi

I’m probably doing this incorrectly, but I just crashed SciDB when I tried:

create array A <val:double> [i=0:870000,870000,0, j=0:42000,1,0];

...load / calculate data into A...

create array B <val:double> [i=0:870000,20,0, j=0:42000,42000,0];
repart(A, B)

What has worked for me is using redimension_store instead of repart. Am I using repart incorrectly? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Dave

ps. I’m changing the chunk size so I can carry out matrix multiplication

Hello!

Good to know; thanks for telling us. Is this on the latest 12.10? Can you copy/paste your config.ini file here?
Thanks.

I’m using 12.3 - I apparently just missed the 12.10 release.

Here is my config.ini - pretty much based on the documentation
