Operator only returning the coordinator's part of the array?

I have written a custom operator that takes in one attribute from an input array, does some math on it, then returns a two-attribute array where the first attribute is the old attribute and the second is the result of the math. Through error checking I know that the math is being performed over every part of the array regardless of which instance is responsible for any given chunk. However, when I run the operator, it only outputs the chunks that were on the coordinator; the other data (which are on other instances) don’t show up, despite the math having been performed over all the data! How can I get the operator to return the entire array instead of just the coordinator’s part?
