I am using 14.12 CE environment on Amazon using the AMI on Ubuntu 14.04.
I am trying to use the normcdf function as follows.
apply(build(<val: double>[i=0:1,2,0], 0.0677296), n_val, normcdf(val, 0, 1));
However, I receive the below error:-
UserQueryException in file: src/query/Expression.cpp function: internalCompile line: 561
Error id: scidb::SCIDB_SE_QPROC::SCIDB_LE_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND
Error description: Query processor error. Function ‘normcdf(double, int64, int64)’ not found.
apply(build(<val: double>[i=0:1,2,0], 0.0677296), n_val, normcdf(val, 0, 1))
I did load the linear_algebra library and also the dense_linear_algebra and indeed the functions (using list) does not appear to show the availability of this functions in my environment.
Confusion is that as of 14.8, the documentation shows that the normcdf is part of Paradigm4 extensions as per the link http://www.paradigm4.com/HTMLmanual/14.8/scidb_ug/ch22.html
However, as per 14.12 documentation, it is available as part of CE release; link http://www.paradigm4.com/HTMLmanual/14.12/scidb_ug/ch06.html.
Please advise and help on how I can access this function. We are working on an important proof of concept to show the value of scidb.
