Installation with intel core i5

#1

problems with the command ‘deployment/deploy.sh access root “” “” localhost’. I have an intel core i5 and trying to install with ubuntu 14.04 and every time I try to execute something about deploy.sh
the command about status reports any problem.
sudo service ssh status
ssh start/running, process 876
The command ssh-keygen worked without problem.
the commands chmod 755 … worked without problem.
But the command deployment/deploy.sh access root “” “” localhost says:

sudo deployment/deploy.sh access root “” “” localhost
Source path: /home/scidb/scidb/scidbtrunk
Script common path: /home/scidb/scidb/scidbtrunk/deployment/common
Build path: /home/scidb/scidb/scidbtrunk
SciDB version: 15.12
Executing: access root localhost

Enter root’s password (only once):Provide access by ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub to root@localhost
spawn ssh -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no root@localhost rm -rf /tmp/root/deployment && mkdir -p /tmp/root
root@localhost’s password:
Permission denied, please try again.
root@localhost’s password:
Permission denied, please try again.
root@localhost’s password:
Permission denied (publickey,password).

In Ubuntu the user “root” is not enabled as a login by default.
You need to enable it: http://askubuntu.com/questions/469143/how-to-enable-ssh-root-access-on-ubuntu-14-04

For security, once you have built and installed SciDB you can reverse the steps to disable root login.
