SciDB-py is a new Python wrapper to SciDB that works in a similar fashion to SciDB-R. This project aims to allow scientific users of Python to use SciDB as a back-end store for large data sets. The primary author of SciDB-py is Jake Vanderplas of the University of Washington.
A beta version of the package is available for use as development is ongoing. The package repository is here: github.com/jakevdp/SciDB-py.
